Festivals
Our vision has always been to deepen our own faith through a life of prayer and repentance and then share the joy of our merciful Lord with others through our feasts, festivals and ministries. Our prayer is that others will be touched by our efforts and the grace of the Holy Spirit and, thus, they will come to know Christ through our Orthodox witness. Hopefully, others will come to thirst for the living water which Our Lord promises to those who believe in Him.
Our Annual Harvest Festival celebrated at the beginning of fall is growing every year with new people discovering this wholesome family and community event. Our old time small town theme with children’s crafts, games and activities, A tea room, live music, folk dancing, BBQ often with wild game and an evening performance which is a delight for all who attended. There are also Salvadoran, Chinese and Eritrean food booths, and the annual apple pie contest. During the Festival, we give thanks to Our Lord for the good gifts that he has given us throughout the year and celebrate Vespers before the evening performance begins. One of the first time guests remarked at the end of the day "this was amazing everything we did pointed to God".

St. Michael's Celtic Festival, started out as a Celtic Night that featured a full dinner and a night of Celtic music which eventually became a full day festival like our harvest festival. The Celtic Festival has a Celtic theme throughout with lots of Irish and Scottish music, Scottish games, dancing, a talk on Celtic saints and much more.
