Our Annual Harvest Festival

Our vision has always been to deepen our own faith through a life of prayer and repentance and then share the joy of our merciful Lord with others through our feasts, festivals and ministries. Our prayer is that others will be touched by our efforts and the grace of the Holy Spirit and, thus, they will come to know Christ through our Orthodox witness. Hopefully, others will come to thirst for the living water which Our Lord promises to those who believe in Him.

Our annual Harvest Festival is growing every year with new people discovering this wholesome family and community event. Our old time small town theme with children’s crafts and activities, music, folk dancing, BBQ and evening performance was a delight for all who attended. This year also included a live auction, Chinese and Eritrean food booths, and the annual apple pie contest. During the Festival, we give thanks to Our Lord for the good gifts that he has given us throughout the year and celebrate Vespers before the evening performance begins. One of the first time guests remarked at the end of the day "this was amazing everything we did pointed to God".

This year the 6th of October was the first Saturday and the day of our Harvest Fair. This is the first harvest fair with our new stage covering. Other new additions this year were a bar-b-que erected the day before, pony rides and a whole game arcade for the kids.
